Texas Ranch Engagement

Brett and Erik are the kind of couple that photographers dream about. Not only are they super adorable but they are down for adventure! Their Texas Ranch engagement took place at Erik’s family ranch which has been in his family for 100 years.

We hopped in the truck together and went to all their favorite spots for photos. The Oak grove with tons of epic cactus, the worn dirt path with over hanging branches, and it wouldn’t be complete without sunset at the top of the hill overlooking the valley below. “LEAH IS 100% AMAZING! Working with Leah was such an easy and relaxed experience. My now husband and I had never done a photography session before so we were a little weirded out and tense. Leah made it so much fun. While reaching out to Leah at the beginning, she was super responsive and personal and this lasted all the way to our wedding day. She was great about communicating pricing and ideas. Her website, emails, and links are super easy to navigate; and if you’re having trouble, literally just give her a call and she is on it.

Leah is crazy fast about getting you your photos. By the time your session ends and she packs away her camera, she will tell you the date and that is the exact date. Also, another perk, Leah sends you the sweetest sneak peeks right after a sesh. Everyone wants those!

So my Husband and I had never really gone through the whole engagement photos, Bridal Photos, WEDDING PHOTOS…. so we wanted to be sure when we hired someone to take such meaningful photos they would be there to help us/guide us through the process. Leah was that girl. She makes you laugh, she jokes with you, she doesn’t make you feel awkward even though taking portraits can be, she is super down to earth. Leah was the only one at my wedding that helped me and my family with my bustle. She makes you feel pretty, helps you with you hair, adjusts your wedding ring. She see these things.

Before our wedding, she had already reached out to the wedding planner and given her an ideal list of times that would be best for her/your photos. Leah & her husband, Team mate, Tim work great with other people/vendors. She thinks about what is best for you and your photos and does such amazing work. Photos are memories that you can look at and cherish forever. Your grandkids will see her photos and think,” Omg Grandma, these are beautiful! I want this for my wedding, one day.”
