Sendera Springs came to the rescue for this hill country elopement in Kerrville, Texas. This elopement was supposed to take place on a bright sunny morning at a park on the river. However, Texas weather can be temperamental, to put it nicely, and instead it was supposed to rain!
The evening before the elopement I called Hannah, the venue owner & coordinator at Sendera Springs, and asked if there was ANY way we could move this sweet couple’s elopement to their beautiful venue and use their gorgeous indoor space?
Hannah said “Absolutely!”
Not only did Hannah let us use the space she set up a beautiful little ceremony site for them complete with wooden arch, wine barrels, and a custom sign. She went over and above to make this moment special for Eric & Tarah and I just can’t thank her enough.
Eric initially reached out to me for an engagement session but due to COVID-19 we had to reschedule. Once things started opening up again, we got back in contact and Eric asked if I’d be willing to turn their engagement session into an elopement! Of course I said Yes, and we launched into planning a day, time and location here in the hill country to have the special ceremony. Ladies, Eric planned EVERYTHING! I only actually talked to Tarah for the first time at their wedding! Eric booked me, the preacher, he got the cake, packed a picnic for them to enjoy, AND he MADE HER BOUQUET!
Everything, with the help of Sendera Springs turned out beautiful. It was raining when they arrived and by the time the ceremony was over the rain had stopped long enough for us to take beautiful portraits outside on the grand patio. My favorite moment though is when we were upstairs in the “grooms suite” taking photos and I hear him ask:
“What’s your favorite color?”
“Eric” Tarah says.
Congratulations Eric & Tarah!
Special thank you to Sendera Springs for opening your venue and hearts to this lovely couple! You saved the day for this hill country elopement in Kerrville, Texas.
