My role as a wedding photographer isn’t just to document your celebration, but to understand the heart of it. That is what I try to capture. Not just the event, but the emotion behind it. Brianne and Casey made this easy for me. Their Fredericksburg wedding at The Albert Hotel was personal, intentional, and focused on being present. It was a joy to capture their celebration on digital and film at one of my favorite Hill Country wedding venues.

It’s no secret that I love boutique hotel wedding venues, but The Albert Hotel is truly something special. It’s located right in the heart of Downtown Fredericksburg, but still feels quiet and peaceful. The modern, minimalist architecture creates a calm atmosphere while embodying warm Texas hospitality. This is the perfect location for couples who want their wedding to feel welcoming and relaxing. And if you’re planning a wedding weekend, you have everything you need right there! You can start your celebration by the pool, or invite guests to enjoy shopping and dining in downtown Fredericksburg.

I highly recommend The Albert Hotel to any couple who wants their wedding to feel experiential and laid back, because planning a wedding here is easy. The team is friendly, accommodating, and genuinely excited for every couple who walks through their doors. Besides, the hotel was made for weddings—both big and small! The getting ready suite is soaked in natural light and even has the cutest porch overlooking downtown. It’s one of my favorite places for morning portraits!
And when it comes to pictures, there is no shortage of photo-worthy spots. We can get some effortlessly cool bar photos, romantic portraits on the grand staircase, casual moments around the patio, and elegant portraits in the soft light of the glass walls in the lobby. Every corner of The Albert Hotel feels artistic and intentional, making it easy to photograph both posed and organic moments.
It’s not just pretty, though. It’s perfectly set up for celebrating, even when the weather looks less than ideal. Many traditional weddings struggle to create an elevated “Plan B,” but The Albert Hotel is versatile and flexible. Because of the large glass wall, you can easily switch an outdoor courtyard wedding to an indoor one, and still get the great views of the grounds and gardens. You can stay warm and dry without sacrificing the experience or aesthetic that likely drew you to The Albert in the first place. (And don’t even get me started on the food. Thinking of their in-house catering is making me drool as I write this.)

San Antonio + Austin Wedding Photographer | Invested in Making You Feel Seen & Celebrated in Every Way
My job is to support your vision and live in the moment with you, ensuring your photos reflect the heart and soul of every second. I love discovering that “thing” that is uniquely you and capturing it in a photo.
So let’s hop on a call, I wanna know every detail!
I think wedding photographers should help relieve stress, not add to it. So when Brianne and Casey’s wedding plans evolved, I was happy to evolve with them. When they first came to me, they were considering an elopement-style wedding. But as they began hammering out the details, they realized they didn’t necessarily want to elope—they just wanted their wedding to have the same level of peace and intentionality as an elopement.
They didn’t want to feel like they were performing. They didn’t want to rush. And they didn’t want to pose and smile for the camera. Instead, they wanted to be fully invested in every moment, enjoy real conversation with the people they love most, and feel like they could be their full selves. That’s exactly what I want for every one of my couples, so I was thrilled to help them bring that calm, intentional energy into their wedding day!
The Albert Hotel ended up being the perfect venue choice for them. The quiet, peaceful atmosphere helped the bride and groom stay grounded, and when a chilly rain threatened to ruin their outdoor ceremony, the wedding planning team at Taylor Bride Creative partnered with The Albert Hotel team to easily transition everything inside. Guests were able to be warm and comfortable while still enjoying the intimate, garden vibes of an outdoor wedding. Plus, the rain perfectly softened the light so the indoor ceremony felt bright and dreamy.
Brianne and Casey’s wedding included so many personal details, from the rose petals from their first date and champagne corks from special occasions to their deeply personal, handwritten vows. Everything about the day felt like them, and their smiles were 100% real—no posing required! Their family-style reception dinner was full of old friends retelling their favorite stories, loud laughter, and some of the best speeches I’ve ever heard. By the time the dance floor opened, it was obvious Brianne and Casey had everything they wanted from their wedding day at The Albert Hotel: an evening that unfolded naturally from start to finish, allowing them to embrace every second.

Your wedding should be designed around you, not the other way around. Brianne and Casey figured that out early into the planning process, pivoting when their original vision no longer matched their priorities. As their wedding photographer, I was so happy to help this couple figure out what was important to them, and then document it in a way that felt unobtrusive.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer who listens to your priorities and matches them, I would love to work with you. Bonus points if you’re getting married at The Albert Hotel! Wherever you choose to get married, I would love to document your wedding in a way that reflects your values and vision. We came in a bit skeptical because every wedding photographer promises the same thing. But we went with Leah after a few interviews because of her authenticity, experience, and attention to detail. And we’re so glad we did!
Leah was absolutely wonderful to work with from the very beginning. If you’re looking for someone who will not only capture beautiful photos but also enhance your entire experience, she is it. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to be part of such an important day!!
