What better way to celebrate saying “I do” than the day devoted to love? Whether you adore Valentine’s Day or are a Love Day scrooge, Samantha and Danny’s Valentine’s Day-inspired wedding at The Waters Point in Wimberley, Texas is sure to steal your heart.
Every single detail, from her stunning veil to their romantic wedding decor, was an oh-so-sweet ode to love.
The Waters Point is a secluded Wimberley, Texas wedding venue set along the banks of the Blanco River and Cypress Creek – just under an hour’s drive from Austin. With a sprawling 34 acres, this serene spot has a host of outdoor ceremony sites, an open-air Main Event Hall and six historic cabins for weekend-long lodging. From dreamy dining by the Wall of Lights to every thoughtfully-curated detail, The Waters Point created the perfect ambiance for Samantha and Danny’s Valentine’s Day-themed wedding.
I always recommend a first look for my couples, and I LOVE when they not only do one with their soon-to-be-spouse, but with other family members as well. Samantha surprised her dad with a sweet first look moment. Afterwards, she went to the secluded riverside ceremony site to surprise Danny with a first look and exchange private vows.
Wow Factor Floral in Wimberley put together the MOST STUNNING flower wedding arch by the banks of the Blanco River. Since it was February, the surrounding trees and grass were still dormant and the scenery definitely looked like your typical Hill Country winter. So I loved that Samantha and Danny chose to go all out with their Valentine’s Day-inspired wedding flowers. It was a much-needed pop of color for their winter Hill Country wedding.
After officially tying the knot, Samantha and Danny (and their floofy doggos!) stayed riverside to take private portraits as the newly minted Mr. and Mrs.
Now, we must all take a moment for Samantha’s gorgeous veil with fluttering blush pink hearts on the train. It’s the little details y’all. 😍
If you haven’t been swooning yet, prepare yourself for some of my all-time favorite Valentine’s Day-inspired wedding decor. From the soft, mauvy-pink table runners to the roses floating below the rafters, The Waters Point was overflowing with decor designed to make every heart skip a beat.
Every single piece of heart decor was so thoughtfully and tastefully done, nothing was “too much” but exactly oh-so-right.
After dining alfresco under a canopy of trees, the couple celebrated with toasts, played the Wedding Shoe Game in lieu of a bouquet toss (her bouquet was too stunning to throw), and danced the night away in the Main Event Hall at The Waters Point.
If you’ve been around here a while, you know I always recommend my couples add in quiet moments to their timeline. It’s the best way to savor a whirlwind wedding day. One option that is growing in popularity is having one final dance together before ending the night. After all the excitement, it’s beautiful seeing my couples slow down and soak in this unforgettable memory one last time.
When my couples come to me with outside-the-box wedding themes, it makes my heart so, so happy. I will always be there to champion your wildest wedding dreams. I feel so honored to have been part of Samantha and Danny’s Valentine’s Day wedding in Wimberley, Texas.
