Pedernales Falls Engagement

This inspiring Pedernales Falls Engagement session is full of laughter and golden hour light. Nestled in the hills 30 miles from Austin Texas is Pedernales Falls State Park. Flowing over and around huge slabs of limestone, the Pedernales River is a beautiful spot for a day trip and perfect for engagement photos. It is an easy hike down to the falls and they have well maintained steps that take you down to the beach.

Mostly known for its tranquil hiking and equine trails the park offers a variety of camping spots and is perfect for afternoon swimming and fishing in the river. I highly suggest booking your entry in advance during busy season as the park is small and fills up quickly.

This was my first of many Pedernales Falls engagement sessions. Emma and Stephen love the outdoors and have fun adventurous spirits. Their easy laughter and love for each other shines through in every photo. Stephen was the real MVP of the shoot wearing a full suit for photos despite the heat.
