From the very beginning of wedding planning, Morgan knew she wanted a Fall Inspired boho wedding! She passed by a flower shop in Midland, Texas one day and saw her inspiration: a beautiful boho floral arrangement with jewel tones and pampas grass. Even though the wedding would take place in the summer, she wanted it to have full fall vibes!
Ty’s family’s river house was the perfect venue for this Fall inspired boho wedding. It was so easy to play off of the landscape, river, trees, etc. with this style. Morgan also wanted there to be a memorable aspect to the wedding that was a little different, so they opted for 2 food trucks to be present for dinner rather than a catered meal. With how open the front of the property is, Morgan chose to add a beautifully curated lounge area from Rust & Relics under a big tree near the food trucks. That way people could lounge and sip cocktails while possibly waiting on their meal to be ready.
Morgan is pretty creative and wanted to make a few things for the wedding herself! She is a Graphic Designer, so she designed the entire invitation suite and other printed materials. She also hand-painted all of the wedding signage, including the bar sign featuring their two pups, Riley and Rita.
