Body Positive Bridal Inspiration

The inspiration behind this body positive bridal styled shoot came from shooting at many many styled shoots over the last year and noticing a lack of body representation. Styled shoots are meant to be inspiring, creative, and a way to network with in the wedding industry. However, it just kept sticking out to me how there was consistently only 1 maybe 2 body types represented.

As I booked my own brides and many of them curvy to Plus size I wanted to share work with them for inspiration or reference but because of the nature of styled shoots I only had one shoot where I felt like curvy and plus size body types were represented. Which spawned some searching and I would say 90% of the styled shoots out there lack body representation as part of their inspiration. Pinterest and google are full of beautiful inspiration for couples to pull from when creating their wedding day.

After seeing this creating body positive bridal inspiration became a big goal for me this year. I wanted to put work out there that brides of all sizes could see themselves in. So, I put together an amazing team to help create this inspirational body positive bridal shoot that celebrates body types in an elevated, editorial, and vibrant way.
