Despite being a few months into 2023, I couldn’t resist looking back on one of the most whirlwind years I’ve had as a San Antonio wedding photographer. It was a year filled with diverse and beautiful couples, stunning locations and so many unique and personal wedding ideas. Without further ado, here is my year in photos. I’ve highlighted all my favorite moments from my busiest and most rewarding year yet.
A Year of Love & Celebrations
My 2022 Year in Photos Highlights:
Last year was a wonderful balance of treasuring the in-between moments, the quiet pauses and the boldest celebrations.
I shot 38 weddings and elopements, and numerous engagements, proposals and portrait sessions.
We also remodeled the shed in our backyard to be a photography studio for portrait sessions and brand photo shoots. I love how it turned out!
Towards the end of the year, we went to our best friend’s wedding in Montana. My husband officiated the wedding and I was their wedding photographer. We were so excited to be part of their special day!
Last year I embraced flash more, and I’ve taken some of my favorite photos ever!
I also started experimenting with GIFs when the time was right! These moving photos have been so fun for me and my couples. They capture the whole in-the-moment vibe rather than relying on one photo.
Sif continues to be the cutest and is always a little put out when I head out for a wedding. It’s hard to leave that sweet face!
I had a Brittany moment (without the mental breakdown) and shaved half of my head. It’s been fun embracing a new style!
I also gave my friend the bridal moment of her dreams! We celebrated 10 years of doing creative shoots together with a super fun styled shoot at Elm Pass Woods in Center Point, TX.
